Polaris Industries has issued another recall of its Recreational Off-Road Vehicles. The ROVs included in the recall are the RZR Pro XP 4 and the RZR Turbo R 4. The former has a 2021-2023 model year while the latter is the 2022-2023 model. The company expects 20,600 units are now affected by the recall.
This is the second time Polaris has recalled these ROVs. The company first recalled them in November 2020. They then conducted an expanded recall in May 2021.
Polaris reported that the ROVs might be in danger of a fuel leak. This can happen at the fuel pump assembly point on the fuel tank. This is close to a hot surface and could become a fire hazard.
The company has already received five incident reports of fuel leaks. There was one report of a fire occurring. But there were no reports of injuries.
