The Scenic Fruit Company has issued a recall of two of its popular products. These are the frozen organic strawberries and the frozen organic tropical blend. The recall comes on the heels of a Hepatitis A outbreak.
The company assured customers there were no cases of Hepatitis A from their products. But the recall is a precaution.
Hepatitis A is a transmissible liver disease. A Hepa A infection can be a mild illness that runs for a few weeks. But a serious case can last for months. It can also result in liver failure.
