The Yamaha Golf Car has issued a recall of its Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV). The company is also recalling the Yamaha Golf Car with model year 2023 and the Umax. The move will affect around 11,000 units of its vehicles.
The company reportedly found an issue with the accelerator. The accelerator spring could become dislodged. When this happens, the accelerator pedal will not go back to the default resting position. It could cause the PTV or cart to crash. This could result in injuries or fatalities.
Yamaha hasn’t received any reports of injuries caused by this issue.
